The effects of the corona virus are being felt all around the world at this point as events continue to be cancelled.
Reported Cases
Geneva has reported 78 cases so far with thankfully no fatalities. As previously reported the motor show was cancelled.
Cancelled Events
Some other notable events which could not take place were the Human Rights Film Festival and this week saw the cancellation of the Geneva Brain Week and Geneva Health Forum.
All World Trade Organisation meetings have been suspended until at least March 20th. The Palais des Nations is currently not open to the public. A total of 200 Human Rights Council events were cancelled.
Public Events
The ban on public events of more than 1000 people will stay in place until at least March 15th.
