Parts of Plane which made emergency landing found in France

Back in July, a flight between Geneva Airport and Heathrow had some problems and was forced to make an emergency landing in Paris CDG.

The plane landed safely and all 100 plus passengers and staff departed the plane in France. The public were asked to be vigilant for parts which had fallen off the plane during the flight from it’s Pratt & Whitney PW1524G engine.

This occurrence is thankfully very rare as it’s quite a frightening idea for passengers to think parts are falling from the plane engine.

The parts were found in woods close to Perrigny-sur-Armançon. Over two hundred people took part in the search where parts made of titanium were found measuring around thirty centimeters in length.
