The official website of Geneva Airport has confirmed the dismissal of their head of security.
Security Staff Dismissal at Geneva Airport
Two individuals were dismissed from their positions in early July this year. The head of security has in fact already served 40 days in prison.
Public Fund Corruption Charges
The charges are related to corruption relating to publicly funded airport contracts. Arrests began in May after investigations uncovered the issues.
The security head has pleaded innocence claiming to be only carrying out orders.
